Our new line of individual quick-frozen (IQF) products

We have acquired next-generation equipment for flash-freezing individual products, also known as IQF (Individual Quick Freezing). This quick-freeze process forms very small ice microcrystals inside foods during freezing. This prevents the muscle fibres from breaking and excess liquid from building up when defrosting products, guaranteeing their texture, nutritional value and taste will be just the same as fresh products. At Emcesa we use nitrogen for this process, due to its highly effective freezing power.
