With hope, perseverance and innovation, Tomás García Robledo funds Emcesa in 1986.
Our company currently has a wide net of selling and distribution points that allows us to reach thousands of homes across Spain with a wide catalog of products.
Our goal is to meet and fulfill the needs of consumers, heeding to our commitment with the environment and sustainability by incorporating technological solutions to our company that minimize our impact on the planet.

Located in Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo), our production plant is divided in the following departments:
Sausage factory: This is where we produce our sausages: chorizo and thin sausage, long sausage and Catalan sausage, blood sausage and mixed.
Adobo and marinates factory: This is where we produce our marinated and spiced meats.
Ready-made food factory: This is where we produce our entire range of ready-made plates, from the most traditional to the more international dishes.
Skewered meats and brochettes factory: This is where we produce our brochettes and skewered meats with the different varieties of sausage and vegetables. This is also where we produce part of our barbecue special catalog of products.
Hamburger and ground meat factory: This is where we produce our ground meats, hamburger and pastes.
IQF Frozen Chamber: This is where the Individual Quick Freezing process takes place. This prevents formation of large ice crystals in the product’s tissue, which in turn avoids the cellular walls in the muscular tissues to tear and spill during defrosting, guaranteeing texture, taste and nutrients to be the same as the fresh product. We use nitrogen for this process due to its great freezing power.
